Bernadette Franjoine, First Vice President

Bernadette Franjoine is the Vice President of Mission Integration for Catholic Health at Mount St. Mary’s Hospital in Lewiston, New York.  She has held various positions since her employ in 1982.

Ms. Franjoine serves as a strong advocate for the needs of the poor and vulnerable.  Partnership and collaboration with other agencies and organizations has been critical for success as services and programs are established, centered and coordinated for the community.  She strives to identify ways to transform the care delivery system and process so that all are provided the services they need in the proper setting and time.  Recent efforts have focused on access to behavioral health and addiction recovery services, chronic disease self-management and prevention, and spiritual care as a component of health and healing.

Ms. Franjoine received her BS (Medical Technology) from Canisius College, MBA from Niagara University, and MA in Theology from Christ the King Seminary.  She is an active member of St. Peter Roman Catholic Church in Lewiston and local community boards.  She resides in Wilson, NY with her husband David and four children, Anthony, Nicholas, Jeana, and Rosemarie.
